The primary purpose of forming the IARFP, a nonprofit professional organization, is to develop and maintain high professional standards and self-discipline for providers of financial planning services globally, and, to foster public confidence in the financial planning profession, to help financial advisers exchange professional techniques, and to give deserved recognition to those practitioners who are truly committed to ethical standards and continuous professional education.
The Professional Designation
R.F.P. (Registered Financial Planner) is a professional financial planning designation and was first used in commerce in 1984 and it has been the hallmark of the professional financial planner in the United Kingdom since then.
The certification program has been very well received by the industry and the public; and currently regarded as one of the top qualifications for financial planning, and wealth management practitioners.
